Foundations in Fine Art
This art class will give a general knowledge of the history of fine art and hands on experience in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media based on experience level and group age range.

Arts and Crafts
Students will get a fundamental understanding of the foundations of the most popular arts and crafts materials.
We will cover drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking for our fine arts segment of the class.
Our crafting segment will include various techniques popular in the crafting world from wood, paper, beading, to fiber based arts and crafts.
Class fee: $45-$60 per month

Photography
Classes involve the basic fundamental skills related to photography such as depth of field, rules of lighting, rule of 3, focal ranges, timing, lens uses, and more. Students learn manual functions of cameras including focus, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and basic menu controls of their cameras. Students also learn post-production editing skills in the Adobe suite such as RAW file handling, monitor to print calibration, color balance correction, post-production lighting correction, and more. Students will be taught basic skills related to these areas of photography: macro, long exposures, black and white, portraiture, wildlife, documentary, street, landscape, and more. Students will expand bodies of work based on their interests.
Students are required to have a camera, participate in field work, and have a computer with a minimum of Photoshop Express. However, it’s recommended to have Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Sculpture
Students in this class will be introduced to fundamental sculptural processes and different methodologies and techniques of creating their own pieces. We will cover armature construction, plaster casting and mold making, upcycling of found objects, basics in adhering wood, metal, and other assorted materials
Students will be working with different adhesives, tools, and so forth. All students will need safety glasses, gloves, and face masks.

Printmaking
Students learn various processes of printmaking from stamping, printfoam, woodblocks, linocuts, gel prints, screenprinting, drypoint etching, and more.

Drawing
Students learn basic drawing skills such as value systems, gesture drawings, figure drawing, still life drawings, development of form, development and execution of imaginary drawings, and more. Students are exposed to a wide variety of media including, but not limited to, conte crayons, charcoal, drawing pencils, marker, chalk and oil pastel, and more.

Painting
Students are taught various skills of painting using water-based media. Skills include color theory and mixing, blending, layering, value systems, painting on different media, developing and conceptualizing subject matter, designing and planning of composition, and more.

Digital Art
Students will get hands-on experience in the development of animation, video editing and creation, graphic art, basics in scratch and web coding.
Students must have a computer capable of running graphic software. It’s recommended that the students have Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
